Biography

Bruce Feirstein (b. 1956) is a screenwriter best known for his contributions to the James Bond franchise.

Feirstein was born in Maplewood, New Jersey. He attended Boston University where he served as the editor for the campus newspaper. Post graduation he became a freelance writer for such publications as Playboy and The New Yorker.

James Bond

In 1995 Feirstein got his start within the James Bond franchise by writing the screenplay, along with Jeffrey Caine, for the film GoldenEye, written by Michael France. Feirstein followed this up in 1997 by writing the story and the screenplay for Tomorrow Never Dies. In 1999 Feirstein co-scripted The World Is Not Enough with story writers Robert Wade and Neal Purvis.

Feirstein has also contributed to two video games for developer and publisher Electronic Arts who currently holds the exclusive rights to creating James Bond games. In 2004 Feirstein wrote the critically acclaimed Everything or Nothing. Currently Feirstein is authoring a video game adaptation of the 1957 novel and 1963 film From Russia With Love of the same name.
