Biography
Fred Zinnemann (April 29, 1907 - March 14, 1997) was a noted movie director. He was born in Vienna, Austria, and died of a heart attack in London, England.
He won the Academy Award for Directing for From Here to Eternity and A Man for All Seasons and also took home the Best Picture Oscar for producing the latter film.
