Antonia Eugenia Vardalos, better known as Nia Vardalos (born September 24, 1962 in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada), is a Canadian actress, screenwriter and producer. She had done many different works but gained almost overnight success with her movie My Big Fat Greek Wedding.
As of 2004, her latest work is the movie Connie and Carla.
